Who would have thought spessartine crystals woult be found in Antarctica? This specimen from Queen Maud Land, Antarctica, has a natural sprinkling of orange-brownish spessartine garnets. The matrix is albite and quartz. The bright, lusterous gemmy crystals are 0.5mm in size.

Specimen size: 34mm X 27mm W X 12mm D.

Ships with protective case, tag, tag stand and COA. Plexiglass base and photo cube not included.

These spessartine garnets from Antarctica make a great addition to any serious mineral collection.
