This excellent manganese nodule, 53205, has dynamic shape and attributes. The front has sweeping side mammilations and about 1/3 of the back allows you an opportunity to see inside.
Manganese nodules are the most widespread undersea mineral resource for mining strategic elements, composed mainly of manganese minerals and a mixed assortment of other elements.
Size: 63mm L X 50mm W X 33mm D, 64.8 grams
Rare metals and important elements have been found in manganese nodules discovered on various ocean floor systems throughout the world. The following elements have been demonstrated to be present: manganese, iron, silicon, aluminum, nickel, copper, cobalt, oxygen, hydrogen, barium, potassium, titanium, sodium and traces of a few others. The estimated age of these nodules is approximately 2.5 million years old.
Our manganese nodules were obtained in a scientific materials trade with a major university.
This polymetallic nodule ships with a Certificate of Authenticity, tag, tag stand, and information about the specimen.
Cube and plexiglass stand are not included.
A professional XRF elemental assay metallurgical laboratory printout analysis is included with this order. The XRF analysis is consistent with other manganese nodules coming from the Clarion-Clipperton fracture zone.
Here is an opportunity to improve your scientific collection with one of the greatest geological wonders and include mining from the ocean floor! Only a very few this big.
