This "Ancient Evenings" 14k gold matching pendant and earrings jewelry set has been made from the charcoal remains of a 2,000 B.C. year old shelter cave site, in Texas.
Early hunter gathers lived in many cave systems throughout the world. Groups of cave dwellers once lived for a period of time in a bluff overlooking the Rio Grande river. They inhabited the region far back in time, huddling in bluff shelter caves to escape the cold, wind and rain. They sought safety in them at night from wild animals and other nomadic groups. They left behind pictograph art that told some of their story, on the walls. They no doubt danced in the light of ancient evening campfires, over 4,000 years ago.
We have obtained this ancient, dated charcoal from a privately owned shelter cave. The pieces have been sealed and creatively hand wire wrapped in 14K gold and accented with fire-colored citrine accents.
The matching earrings are made of black onyx and they were wire wrapped in 14k gold and also accented with a golden citrine accent.
The set is shipped in a quality jewelry box with information about the jewelry, Certificate of Authenticity. Chain not included.
This is probably one of the most interesting and unique jewelry sets in the world! Far older than the Anasazi culture and dating back to the time of Ancient Egypt.
